Don't get me wrong, it's obvious that any business requires some investment to make bank, but is this business many people got with zero investment.
If you start TODAY, read a few articles, get some free hosting and free content, and ONLY submit galleries to TGP's, like most people who start do, then you'll be lucky to make a few hundred each month.

This business requires far less investments than any other business that I know of. Paid hosting and a domain or two are really all you need to make good money in this business. Your initial investments can be well below $100 a month.
Ofcourse, you shouldn't go down the gallery road. Galleries are, in my opinion, only useful when promoting your own sites.
The only way to create a secure stream of revenue in this business that will continue to grow over the years is by creating original, useful sites.
