I can not find the thread by Spike any longer, regarding the FAQ but anyhow. I just discussed yetserday the patent issue with some webmasters in Germany and during our discussion I remembered that the IMPAI is looking for some BBS files to proof that the delivering of compressed video and/or audio were already in place before 1991.

In Germany we had a different system in paralel to the old BBS. This System, BTX were driven by the German Telekom and it had allowed downloads, movies, chat's etc. Maybe this will be also a good point to search for while fighting this patent.
A system like the BTX were and is also available in France, called Minitel. As far as I know this system is still running and is driven by the France Telecom.
