In all honesty it would be easy to take the offer and say fuck it...mind you you still have to shell out the dough which sucks.
Knowing them in a year or two they will come back with something else that youforgot to pay or something.
But like you said this is a grey area and being that you have no idea whee the sales are made and you are just receiving commissions for sales you should fight! it.
