Pardon the flaming title - that was just to get maximum participation in this thread about a subject that has always intrigued me.
I have always wondered what really is the reason that citizens of western countries create all kinds of hurdles and barriers for well educated, well settled, westernized prospective immigrants while welcoming thugs/criminals/ Blatant fraudsters and utter sub human species in the name of refugees?
Why would we tell a smart, highly educated person that he needs to jump through a million hoops to be accepted for immigration and not provide him ANY help, whatsoever, while happily giving $$$$ to thugs and liars who obviously laugh at us and will never assimilate or absorb values of host nation?
Why?
