Yeah, its basically what it looks like - a Gameboy sized handheld device. Not only does it do ALL the gameboy games, but pretty much everything else too. Playstation games, Laserdisc games etc etc...
Its the trifecta to my retrogaming equipment. If I want to play an arcade game, I play it on a real cab, with real arcade controls. If I want to play a console game, I have my PSClassic that does virtually EVERY single console game out there. I use a real PS4 Duel Shock over bluetooth as a controller, and I can also use replica controllers for megadrive / genesis, or nintendo if I want too.
But for anything handheld - Designed to be played on a hand held device, I now have this baby...
