Hollywood actors have a retirement home. Too bad the industry doesn’t start a similar situation and fans can donate money for the upkeep and daily living expenses. Buy an old nursing home, fix it up with donated money and professional fans, and let them live with no worries about the future. Autograph sessions, visits and such could provide money for the former stars. Clothing, deodorant, combs, those type things are needed for people.
You could collect funds at industry functions and appoint a trusted person to oversee the money and building and maintenance.
Dream, sure, but it seems to be needed so they don’t end up homeless, addicted, prostituting and worse. Many stars and actors move on and the past is the past.
