Both plugins need only links to sponsor hosted galleries and nothing else. They will parse the original FHG gallery pages, find out all full-sized images there, upload them to your host, crop the thumbnails, create the WordPress posts, generate standard WordPress galleries and create the post thumbnails (featured images) for each if needed.
