For some unknown reason, a lot of domainers (i.e. domain squatters) insist on using Scamdaddy.
And yes, NameCheap is the best, I've been using them for years.

Very inconvenient for a customer on the tricksterDaddy those days to transfer away, convenient for thricksterDaddy though. I can imagine that people in rush, scared of loosing a domain will just go on and pay the insane ransom. This way GoTrickyDaddy squeezes monies out of unaware small-time customers, like they would renew for a few years upfront. I guess small-timers must be the largest share of that market nowadays, just common people with offline business but in need of simple online front etc.
