That thread will lead to endless argument about guns, whether to own guns or not, the politics of guns and the two opposing right and left wing sides of that equation.
We don't need GFY to give us the news when you have all the news sites in the world, radio, TV, Twitter, Facebook etc.
There's also dozens of sites to discuss news, Reddit etc.
It belongs in the politics section.
