The guardian also reports good news: https://www.theguardian.com/commenti...eturning-trees

Unfortunately, Canada seems to be falling behind. Even though BC has planted over 7.5 Billion Trees since the 1930's, BC plants 20% less than it chops down. https://news.gov.bc.ca/factsheets/fa...estation-in-bc. And Ontario, under the leadership of that dumb fuck Ford (Conservative Republican, of course), has just canceled a plan to plant 50 Million Trees.

So, Congrats America on helping reduce Trump-made smog!

What an asshole.
This above is why I'm actually against recycling paper.. We plant millions of trees a year to be harvested for use as paper each year. This is all trees grown for that specific purpose to create paper..

If we made our paper 100% from recycled materials we would stop plants all those trees.. Meaning the more paper that is recycled means less trees being planted. The other issue is the process of cleaning recycled paper is very toxic for the environment. Meaning it's actually worse to recycle paper.. Cardboard or plastics, by all means but paper no, I never recycle it..
