I lived in North Carolina for a couple years and one day my kid & I were driving, I looked over and there's a HUGE tick on his ear. No idea how it got there. He hadn't been in any tall grass or anyting it was creepy.

In 1945 the Japanese hatched operation Cherry Blossom at Night where they allowed fleas to feed on plague infested rats and they were going to release the fleas on military bases in Southern California.
