I don’t know if this is still accurate but you used to have collected x number of quarters working to be eligible. You can work but can only earn a certain amount of money and over that you get less.
I’m limited to two grand a month and I think that’s the norm.

There is this thing called the Internet; you should check it out. You don't need to call or appear in person. And yeah, 62 is the age, but less than if you wait.
