She never said she made it up.. Trump had his goons threaten her and her family until she got scared and dropped the case.
Also the Russian Trolls moved to using screen shots instead of text because text could be searched and easily disproved so they started creating fake screen grabs.
This was already documented tactics well over a year ago by both Facebook and Twitter
