I did read the article. How could they prove Dangar knew she had killed herself? Even if they could produce video of the interaction, there's no way to prove he knew she was dead vs passed out temporarily. He was essentially asking her to asphyxiate herself, which is what she did.
Had he not killed himself, he would have been charged with a crime related to persuading her to kill herself, not necessarily the act of non reporting.
