But they do learn our language. My grandmother worked her entire life working as waitress in a dinner. My step father ran his own business here in the US for forty years.
When immigrants come here, they don't speak English. English will be a second language for them. Eventually they will learn how to speak to English.
Again, thankfully people like you weren't around when my non English speaking family came over on a boat through Ellis Island.
