When I launched my first adult sites in 2015, I deliberately did not use a logo. The site name was in the top left corner, in plain text. I also ignored a lot of other things that a lot of people think you have to do. Everything about the sites was incredibly basic--the design, the look and feel, the structure. The only emphasis was on function: show things that people want to click on in the simplest way possible.

I was able to build those sites to over $800/day in revenue. I dominated google for half a year with those sites. Without a logo. With a comically basic design that you would look at and say "this site sucks."

So no, logos are not important. Function and content are important.
