People are assholes

Sometimes people are assholes.

Last night at about 9pm someone in a small local Facebook group posted that someone had created a swastika in chalk in a local park, and a few other things including a confederate flag and a huge cock. I figured out where the park was - it's two blocks away and I used to bring my kid there - so my wife and I grabbed a bucket and a brush, drove over, and removed it. Including drive time we invested all of about four minutes into this.

Came back to Facebook, mentioned I removed it, and thought that was that. I didn't take any pictures, wasn't going to post it anything about it to a larger group; I didn't want to make a big deal out of it or take credit for it. Instead, the original poster claimed I lied and that he took care of it. I wasn't about to argue with an asshole on the Internet - I get enough of that here on GFY - and went to bed. Over night the thread blew up and spilled over into the bigger Facebook groups. This guy attacked me all night long calling me a liar, blah blah blah.

Turns out.... There are condos over looking the park, and one of the residents heard someone scrubbing outside in the park and looked out her window. She is customer of mine, and knows my wife because her two kids are in the youth football league that my wife runs. She saw my Jeep and saw us in the park at 9:30pm with a bucket and backed up my version.

This poor guy.... He was up all night till 2am attacking me on Facebook and when he wakes up he is going to wake and feel like an ass because he made a big deal about this when he was the one who was lying about it.

This guy is called "the resident asshole" because he complains about everything.
