Another started hurting twelve years after the root was pulled. They think the dentist left a fragment of root behind but I don’t remember the full story. Another tooth recently split and crumbled and I’m having surgery to repair it and other work. I’d never broken a tooth before this but four broke in a month. The front tooth I hide well!
My teeth were fine but medication possibly weakened them. I’m frightened to have them done since a dentist caused me to nearly die and end up in a wheelchair.
Oh, Novocain can’t be used so I need Marcain which has no epinephrine I think it is. It lasts twenty minutes and then the pain returns. Fun fun fun.

If the root has been pulled it is something different, a root canal is where the original dead roots are left in place, the remnants of the tooth are mummified, pulp extracted etc.
Sorry to hear your story, your experience with the dentist is shocking, what happened?
