Except that that's not the point, and its not what I said. Let's try it again. Nancy Pelosi never said, what you said she said. You *lied* to everyone on GFY, or you Misquoted. Get it?


She called no one stupid, and did not at any time say her constituents are "not smart enough to understand impeachment" as the title of this post says. Again, the full, actual quote is "The Speaker, according to two sources with knowledge of the meeting, expressed concerns that the public still doesn’t understand how the process of impeachment would play out. She noted that in her time over the recess in California well educated voters didn’t seem to understand that impeachment proceedings would not necessarily result in Trump’s immediate ouster from office."

In other words, the editor or whoever wrote this story, cherry-picked a few words, presented out of context and changed it slightly just because they knew some slow-mo's would carry it forward and continue false ideas and perceptions about Pelosi.

No, they weren't. They misquoted what she said, and presented it big letters AND out of contested. You read those big letters and repeated it. How are they being nice? And who are they being nice too? You? Think about it. They took an event, and changed it slightly so that people with strong confirmation bias like you, will take the bait.

(Confirmation Bias: The often unconscious act of referencing only those perspectives that fuel our pre-existing views, while at the same time ignoring or dismissing opinions — no matter how valid — that threaten our world view). Tell me this isn't you.
