Very true, but I know me, and I know that I wouldn't do it. There's no way I could pretend to know what those people went through. I've never even held a gun except for a hunting rifle (I didn't hunt) so there's no way in hell I could pass judgment on any soldier. What would be important to me is that he or she is back home and safe and hopefully not messed up.

This is yet another eason why I think Trump is a total bullshitter, especially on this subject. He dodged the draft - I'm actually Ok with that). What would impress me though, would be for Trump to say "I was afraid to go to war. Its cowardly and I'm ashamed but its the truth". Then you know that if he followed that up with any kind of praise for any soldier, McCane or other wise, that he would actually mean it. I don't think he can do it.
