You guessed it, the lack of self awareness.
Someone disagrees with their ideology in plain honest speak (and that's exactly what it is), and how do they respond?
They call you a "nazi" while threatening your life/livelyhood for not being just like them.. using tactics directly from the advent of the man Joseph Goebbles himself.. the actual minister of propaganda for the "nazis" - lulz not lost.

Unfortunately these nerds didn't get enough water when they were kids, and the whole world is a stage for their "get back even moment".
Focusing on this fantasy likely helps the sting.. of that once proud ego they lost as nerds.. That same one they can't look in the eye these days.. The typical self hatred and insecurity that vibrates at the core of their sad little malcontent rage.
Fortunately,
They are all but a fraction of the minority in this country.. Ultra far left zealots.. and the harder they kick (even with their loud speaker that uses them for the ideal "useful idiots they are") the more they alienate middle riders to the opposite end of the spectrum.
Somehow I still don't think they realize how they got trump elected.
We iz specials. We isus unique. We is wholes. We is pures.
You iz bad. You is nots human. You bakes in ovens now. We smells your flesh. Wes don't mind.
