that already starts from the fact who may vote and who not.
as EU countries still have their national policies we are facing the problem that in some countries citizens can go to vote with 18, in other with 21 and in other with 25.
also every country was able to decide the election day. EU elections started on thursday already in some countries.
you see we are still heavily lack equal norms because there is too much of what you want more.

I think it will go extreme pro EU and anti EU the coming years. There is no middle party. Parties that say that are different on national level, work together on EU level. It is just a matter of time when it will happen. And than we have just like in the USA two totally different groups of people and some will start hating eachother.
The EU sceptic mostly didn't vote, what would happen if people must vote like in some countries and 95% showed up instead of 40%... They also predict next time Forum voor Democratie (FVD) will be the biggest on national level. That can take 3 years, or maybe there will be elections sooner.
It would be best if there are really european parties people can vote for everywhere. This is a farce. People could only get the feeling that they have some influence if they voted for all parties that run the EU. Now a vote for VVD is same as a vote for CDA (christian party). Or Green Left is same as Socialist Party. Look now, 3 seats for one of the eurosceptic party, they should have been able to get more votes from whole Europe. I would vote Brexit Party. Maybe that is the reason they don't want real democracy. Mostly that ends with a big bang. Just like the 1st, 2nd and 3rd reich.
