Stan’s was a popular chain of drive-in restaurants around Los Angeles. Their prominent neon signs show up in several movies and television shows from Perry Mason to the AIP drag race movies to B-movies starring Frank Lovejoy and Betsy Palmer. There were anywhere from ten to twenty different locations in any given year.
