I understand what you're saying but times have changed. Many Western Women don't want this leave to beaver lifestyle. The want careers just like the men. This is why the birth rates in the Western World are declining. Is it fair to try force women back in the kitchen. No. And it wouldn't happen. Maybe governments could make it easier for women to have it all. Like they say.
Paid maternity leave, subsidized day care, flexible work schedules, affordable health care and, Tax breaks. etc.. Until then women will choose what's best for them.
