So weird that you now have to pay big bucks for textiles that were the most simple to make in the 50s (flax canvas, linen canvas, hemp canvas, nettle canvas).

Surprised they don't make a cotton canvas with a linen/hemp rough texture.

Most beautiful textile ever made was the linen canvas the frenchies used in every single bag they made in WW2.
