Alex Eaton was in the paper 2 years ago for swimming across Lake Eufaula in Oklahoma. It was his goal for his birthday and he did it.

In the article he explains that he has Asperger's syndrome and he's been a long-distance swimmer for the last 7 years.

"“I has Asperger Syndrome, which is a form of autism,” he said. “It just means I need to stay more physically active than most people. So, I swim.”

Pushing his body to its physical limits helps Eaton calm his mind and focus on daily tasks.

“My mind wanders, I can’t focus or function sometimes,” he said. “But swimming helps calm me, helps me focus and feel better,” he said."

You can tell in his latest YouTube videos that it's the same person as in the article.

Here you see him doing sit-ups and you can tell it's the same body/chest as in the pic above. not to mention that he's wearing a speedo which is what a swimmer would wear.

Here you can see him eating and you can tell it's the same face, same lips, damr marks on the face, same eybrows, just a couple years older with longer hair and looking a bit more tired. he said in his video yesterday that he has slept for two days.

My guess is that him having Asperger's and being rear-ended by the truck is difficult for him to process. He's been saying the videos that he keeps thinking about the accident.

That's actually pretty cool of the dude to go out and actually do something he always wanted to do. Seems he's gone down hill a bit since he swam across the lake. Maybe he needs to get out there swimming more often.. He looked pretty normal in that 1st picture.
