My ancestor Lieutenant Robert Foote travelled from Ipswich, Suffolk, England to settle in Boston in 1648 then got the fuck out of that shit hole and went on to help build the New Haven, Colony of Connecticut, where he later died of old age in 1681. Unfortunately a couple of his 8 children went back to a place now known as Ipswich Massachusetts the rest is history.
