It is also very risky to use a software like you describe.
Let's say a customer builds its workflow around your desktop software.
Then your business fails after 2 years. (Let's be honest, most do.) Or you get bored and move on. Or God forbid you get hit by a car. That customer will be totally fucked then. It's just not worth the risk to use a software like this.
I personally can't think of anything that's really needed and can be done by tiny team. But maybe someone will be able to suggest something. :-)
If you really want to make money in adult, I'd go with custom development/admin gigs. Then you might get an idea for something the companies really need and you could sell to many.
