My dogs:
* Protect my home and family
* Play with my grandchildren
* Sleep at the foot of my bed
* Pull my wife to the floor before she has an epileptic seizure
* Go fishing and hunting with me
* Play games with me
* Pull a grocery cart for my wife
Now don't get me wrong. I'm not some bleeding heart vegetarian screaming to never harm animals. But I do believe in the ethical treatment and slaughter of a creature... Plus I admit that I tend to like animals better than I do most humans beings.
To this effect, if I see anyone torturing or abusing any animal I would happily put a slug in that son of a bitch's brain.
