For me, the problem with running (long distances) is that it makes me mega hungry. When I get home from a long run I eat everything in sight so I just don't do it anymore. There's also some people who think it eats muscle...and that's debatable I guess, but keep in mind you never see any hardcore joggers who look like Chris Hemsworth. I'll choose to walk or sprint.
