Like you, I've noticed some prices on Amazon are a lot more.
I've also noticed price creeping on Amazon where you buy something and if you buy it a couple more times they start slowly raising the price on you. At first it's a fee cents, then a bit over a dollar then a couple dollars. If you stop buying it you'll get a notification a couple months later that it's on sale.... at the original price!
