Al-Qaida timeline: Plots and attacks - World news - Hunt for Al-Qaida | NBC News

Whether it's the people or the religion is not important. The culture is. Death is worshipped if it's in pursuit of power. Life is cheap, especially other people's. If the world hadn't turned after 911 Al Qaeda would be still a major problem. Now we have ISIS to worry about. After ISIS is defeated which Islamic group will form and start the whole cycle again?

Do we ignore the problem or hit back relentlessly?

Yes America has a much worse homegrown problem with Blacks and Whites killing people, but that's no excuse to add more problems.
