[QUOTE=Matt 26z;22442724]My second choice in 2016 was Ted Cruz.

I hate to break it to you but Trump didnt gain votes for the Republican party. Trump couldn't even win the popular vote.

A simple look at the 2012 election shows the actual voting numbers were nearly identical.

2012. Obama vs Romney
65,915,795 60,933,504

2016

Trump vs Hillary

62,984,828 65,853,514

Meaning for all Trump's hoopla he only gained roughly 2 million votes over what Romney had in 2012.

I wont compare the 2008 election because that was a landslide for Obama but if you look back to 2004 George Bush jr had 62,040,610 meaning Trump did not bring new numbers to the Republican party, he barely beat Bush jr's numbers.

The simple fact is Trump perhaps brought in new voters to the Republican party but he also alienated many on the fence voters and has since that time created more opposition to himself than what he might have gained by the on the fence racist crowd.

Trump has simply finished destroying the Republican party because he exposed the wide spread corruption within the GOP. He also pissed people off so much that people have finally started fighting back against all the cheating of our elections across multiple states by Republicans.

The electoral map will be very different this next election as many states have had the illegal gerrymandering undone. The election after that will be even more different as even more states have the gerrymandering undone.

Now here is my take, I think all these Republican walk aways will still vote for Trump over whomever the Democratic nominee is. The key difference will be Republicans wont have several states electoral votes that they never would have won with out their cheating. They will also not have the on the fence voters. There is no.. oh I'll give him a shot crowd the next election for Trump. Then even if 1% of the walk away Republicans dont vote Republican Trump will lose biggly.

Republicans as a whole are greatly brainwashed with propaganda by right wing media. You can shake your head no but dude you guys are fucking brainwashed..

The brainwashing comes by giving you someone to hate who is going to ruin your life, gonna take your guns, gonna tax you to death ect..ect..

Yesterday at a rally the crowd was chanting AOC sucks.. No normal people do this. That is result of widespread propaganda targeting specific people for you to be outraged at. If you are outraged then you will show up to vote for the guy that maybe you don't like but at least he's not the evil socialist whose gonna steal your guns..
