I am going to share my serbian military beans recipe...it takes 3 days to prepare...it is beans with ribs and bacon and sausage stew...no other meal is like this and it must be prepared in this exact way:

you need:

-500g white beans (NOT red NOT brown only white beans!) you may use canned beans but if you are going to use dry you will need to soak the beans over night!
-3 white onions
-3 cloves of garlic
-1 big carrot
-1 bell pepper medium! NOT large! or the pepper will overpower the taste of the carrot!
-1 bay leaf
-lard (nothing else just lard...if you put oil you are a faggot)
-flower
-ground paprika

500g of various smoked ribs/bacon cubes/sausage...cut in medium sized cubes...

you boil the beans in water...you strain the beans...
during this time you chop the onion and gently brown on some lard...just make it go soft and a bit brown...add diced carrots, bell pepper, garlic and simmer a bit...

take the beans and put in a new pot of water and add everything...and the bay leaf...and add some pepper and nothing else at this stage...it is a delicate recipe...water to everything else should be 2:1 in the pot...cook on a low fire at least 2 hours...

now comes the tricky part...you will need to make shortening...you need a tablespoon of lard and a tablespoon of flower...you stir this on a medium fire until it starts to bubble and then add 2-3 teaspoons of groud paprika and stir...you should have a red paste type of substance...now put this in the pot of beans and meat after it has finished cooking...leave on the stove for another 10-20 min...

ok now comes the important part: you must not eat the beans...you must let them cool and then you put them in the fridge...under no circumstances are you to eat the beans on the second day...the process of heating and cooling and then heating again does the magic...

when the beans have been in the fridge for an entire day you may prepare the only possible salad: shredded cabbage...with some vinegar and oil as seasoning...you may not eat anything else with the beans or you will ruin the dish...you also need white bread...it must be white bread from wheat and none of that brown/corn/crap stuff...heat the beans and serve...

with the beans you may consume some spring onion with this meal on the side but max 2 and you do not eat the green shit...

importat: dip the bread in the stew!

important 2: do not change the recipe...faggots like to put in sour cream and use gluten free bread...do not be a smart ass you can not improve the sacred recipe...it has been perfected over millions and millions of attempts by an entire region...

important 3: keep in mind that if your smoked ribs are very salty you may need to cook them for 30-40min in a pot of water to extract the salt first...
