First time I had a Wiener Schnitzel was in Austria. When I returned to the US, I saw a large sign that read Wienerschnitzel, and drove right up to the place, only to learn they served hot dogs, a dozen different ways. I was disappointed. Schnitzel everywhere except the US apparently is breaded veal.
