Exactly.
Big business, no matter how liberal, benefits from Republicans in power. Same with the big multinational corporations in charge of our food supplies & health supplies. They lobby congress to create a massive web of red tape to make the barrier to entry for newcomers in their industries nearly impossible.
Look at Tucker Carlson, multinational corporations still pay him with their advertising, despite the evil shit he's said. Why? Because he's the second most popular show on FoxNews. They need FoxNews to keep Republicans and their pro big business policies in power.
Who do you think owns the various polling companies that tell us how popular a president is? Do you think they are liberal owned with a liberal agenda? Do you really think they randomly pick 1,000 people to pole who's responses will be nationally televised to represent 3,000,000,000 American's sentiments about the POTUS?
As the elections get closer the polls will magically change because they have to be more accurate for election projections. But after elections Trump magically got more popular and despite him losing the house, 90% of Republicans approve of his performance. Since the midterms The polls don't make sense. In the next year they will magically be more accurate because they have to accurately project election results, but in the meantime they'll tell us Trump is extremely popular with his base and there's nothing we can do.
If Trump was extremely popular with 90% of his base he would not have lost the House. We are being lied to and manipulated as always.
