I do believe if everyone could have seen into the future then there would have been outrage but as it stands, nobody sees it as cause and effect.

We did have a glimpse into the future.
Remember this video created & posted to YouTube in 2007? A lot of what it said has come true regarding news, etc., just a few year behind schedule, and we are headed in the direction of how it ends. Eventually each individual will have each news story instantly individually tailored for them specifically.
