People don’t realize how important it is to separate your technology. I learned the hard way but I’m glad I learned. My old php script guy is around but he no longer does that for no cost to me. $100/hour is a discount for me lol.
With my big sites I was concerned. My handfuls of sifes with three more due get little traffic as I haven’t promoted yet.
The host can set up a separate IP for email but I pay for dedicated IP now. GSuite serves me fine for now.
Sites need to separate in case of attack. At least email gets through if your sites are attacked. I don’t hear of botnet attacks now but the biggest “hacker” from Canada got caught. When he got into the White House server, and learned of his botnets, he was toast. We refers to a team I was on but had no part of his takedown, other than being on his hit list. I admired his intelligence in computers even after being blitzed.
