because some parts they have access too, some parts farmers don't mind or there's public infrastructure to get near enough to get equipment in. Borders 3,145 km long, 1000k is already fenced or more likely been fenced and needs refencing. But to build a barrier along the whole border, is basically an impossibility.
And then you have to think what it achieves.. certainly in NO way stops drugs, vast majority of illegal immigrants have flown in and out stayed visas, so those numbers won't be effected
And all your really left with is the small minority of people that walk over the border and apart from the most weak, that wall won't stop them at all.
It's a sales gimmick to a low IQ audience from a conman.
