Let's all agree it exists and pass legislation to make sure that only CITIZENS who are legal to vote can vote.
I'm cool with that.
For some reason, Democrats hate the idea... wonder why that is.
Now that DEMOCRATS are arguing that voter fraud is a problem... lets make sure it NEVER happens again. That should be simple, right???
Everyone on board???
No??
Strange......

I never said it doesn't exist. I have said many times it is very minor problem. Trump himself put together a team to hunt out voter fraud and they couldn't find shit so they disbanded.
I have also said many times I have no problem with voter ID laws. What I have a problem with is the voter suppression laws that almost always come with them. If states simply passed a law that said everyone had to have a valid ID to vote and said nothing more, I wouldn't have an issue with it. But that isn't what happens. They shorten voting and registration days, they cut the number of precincts and pretty much do whatever they can to keep people they fear will vote Democrat from voting.
I am also against shitty Republicans screaming about massive voter fraud with zero evidence. I loved how after the election Republicans were talking about how the only reason Hillary won the popular vote is because 3 million people voted illegally in California. That is horseshit, they know it, but they still spout it because their base buys whatever they sell.
I have also said many times that every state should vote by mail like my state does. It would greatly reduce the risk of any voter fraud (we have had less than 20 challenged ballots that were suspected to be fraudulent over the last 5+ years and most of those turned out to be address errors. Republicans don't want that because it increases voter turnout which means they lose elections.
Here is what I want to know. Why isn't the Republican Party up in arms over this situation? They scream and fucking yell about voter fraud. Now they have an actual case and instead of taking action and being outraged . . . crickets.
Meanwhile, a fucking idiot actor does a stupid thing, gets caught, and will be punished for it, and Republicans act like he just shot Franz Ferdinand and the world is about to descend into chaos. It's nothing but deflecting.
We should celebrate voting. We should make election day a national holiday. We should do anything and everything we can to make registration and actual voting as easy as possible. And, yes, that can include voter ID laws. Instead of trying to restrict voter access we should be trying to expand it. But that will never happen with Republicans in charge because, like I said, big voter turnout is almost always bad for them.
So, yes, I believe voter fraud is an almost non-existent problem. Now that we actually have a real documented case of it, I want to see some action by those who have screamed loudest about this.
