I don't care if it goes away or not. To me, it just feels like the righties are celebrating this like they just won something.
Here's what you need to know. The other day a story broke about a white nationalist being arrested. They found a hit list. This guy was planning to kill as many high-ranking Democrats as he could. That story has two threads on the front page, one of which is about to fall off the front page and only has a few responses.
This Smollet thing has 8 or 9 threads on the front page with righties making new threads or jumping in to add stuff as soon as it breaks on Twitter. It's like this whole thing somehow vindicates their worldview.
