There is nothing backwards, it's all consistent. Trump's an idiot for how & why he started the shutdown.
Clearly you don't see, he's being mocked for starting something everyone knew he could not win. It's an "I told you so stupid!"
Trump was burned for saying he was responsible for the shutdown, and then the next day, and every day thereafter, blaming the Democrats, going back on his word.
