I'm more likely to be mugged, have my car stolen and the shit beat out of me on the french side of town than I am on the west side of Montreal where all the English and Jews live.
Everyone, including the French, knows this to be true but the government goes out of its way to obscure the facts.
As far as I'm concerned everyone should be given an equal chance to prove themselves. But to be blunt people that are white and descended from the English, Germans, Dutch and Swedes tend to be better behaved than most other nationalities.
My point is culture makes a huge difference in what you can expect from someone.
