i have seen sites whoose ads got blocked by this., the site was very useless , as webmaster didnt bother to fix the code, every link was dead , as it was trying to open new window., hornbunny is the site.

thatīs what i say - many webmaters donīt even care or have a search console account or even look there.

if google start enforcing this then , there will be more banbers than ever and there will be sites with js crypto miners.
|
it was not even good money when cryptos had value.
and it uses users CPU what makes the site slow.
away from that they are detected fast by any security.
makes ZERO sense and kills the most valuable on a site: the returning customer

ill go with js crypto mining then., why the fuck google has to decide popunders are bad.
it is not google that think that. users are thinking that.
popblockers are in every browser since many years. to open a popunder and go around an active blocker is only possible with dirty tricks. and those tricks are abusive.

its like big ad agency's are lobbying against popunder , becuase they are loosing reveue becuase of adblock users.[/QUOTE]
but this is exactly the point. there have been MANY legal fights against adblockers and not one of them was successful because they always had examples where every judge can understand that users want to block such a mess.
the was no definition for good or bad ads and this is what should happen with the coalition for better ads.
google ads are also blocked by adblockers and they are not a friend of them.
we are detecting MUCH less users with adblockers that are using chrome 64+ what means that you can see already a positive result.
in our special case (we are CPC not CPM) the new Google rules gave us a HUGE revenue increase - and as I said we also still using pops but in a way google accept them.
I would say that we lost around 25% in pop-revenue since march and won 40% with other solutions. so under the line a quite big plus and no reason to worry.
