We know there has been millions poured into shilling by Share Blue. Media Matters. and the Clinton thing.. I guess we would expect to see it somewhere.
Not sure why it has to be a political thing for people to realize the establishment is no friend.. But it's gotten so weird in that these new liberals are seemingly* all about it.
I just worry classic liberals will start eating it up out of sheer repition.

What you're describing based on your friends is whats called anecdotal evidence. Just because you and your friends view things a certain way (an echo chamber) it doesn't mean its representative of whats actually going on.
I think what this presidency has done is bring to light a lot of fundamental issues with the current American political system. Even though its been labeled a "Republicans vs Liberals" battle, I think this is more of an issue with a clash of ideologies regardless of political affiliation. Lots of unspoken ethical rules are being broken in this presidency and this is waking up a lot of people to the realization that certain blatant abuses of power CAN happen and this needs to be addressed.
Also, if you think that liberals are eating up propaganda, you should really step back and look at yourself long and hard in the mirror because you are victim of exactly the same thing. Both parties are being fed propaganda. There's no point in squabbling between which party is right and which is wrong here because, if you look at the current state of affairs: everybody is losing.
