Seriously, there are places on the internet intended for this nonsense and it is crazy how much political non-stories have crept into just about every facet of online interaction.
People aren't even discussing policy, so the conversations wouldn't even be useful for a person interested in politics.
I expect it is extra annoying for webmasters who don't even live in the US to constantly be bombarded with US soap opera pseudo politics.
