That shit is about like ebay's 100% buyer guarantee... It does nothing but harm to the merchant.. Because visa sure as hell isn't covering the loss.

Merchants do ask... All them time.. To protect THEMSELVES... Hell there's been such a rash of fake money floating around here lately every cashier and their momma is marking even $5 bills...
