it's a trade-off

google loves unique copy, the more of it the better, if you can write a bunch of unique copy for every page on your website, google will like that

but if you write unique copy for every video, it'll take you MUCH longer to add videos to your site. you'll have way fewer videos overall. so you'll have less pages that could rank and you'll have less content for your visitors so your engagement metrics will probably be worse (which google won't like)

I see both types of sites ranking: sites with lots of scraped/embedded content but nothing unique, and sites with limited content but lots of unique copy. Either approach can work. Google loves unique copy, and they love strong engagement metrics. You probably can't have both unless you're pornhub/xvideos/xhamster, so pick one and focus on it.
