I gathered that but you are correct that there is a difference between individual and class action proceedings. never been a party to a class action, hope to never be. honestly court proceedings are awful and wouldn't wish that on anyone.
class actions do have a place though, even if the lawyers take a cut. it's a mechanism through which those who may not be able to afford legal costs out of pocket up front can still seek funds owed and
hold people accountable for what they do. or don't do. like pay people what they are owed.
that indy site that tried to rip me off owed dozens of people, just none except me were owed enough to justify the cost of pursuing legal recompense.
back to the central point, good luck to everyone owed and I hope this company reaches an understanding one way or another that paying debts is not optional. it's what the rest of us do every day and we manage it so wtf is wrong with those who can't
