The problem with min wage jobs is the turnover rate is so high. So you pay someone to train them for a few days and the next week you have to train someone else

Yeah but there are many people out there for one reason or another that that's the best they can do. And there are a lot of them. They end up getting shafted hard and us taxpayers end up footing hefty bills because of it.
And I get what your saying about hiring more skilled workers but that's not the problem. The problem is with the 1000 unskilled workers that won't be working anymore since their limited intellectual capacity only allows them to earn an employer $10 per hour in productivity. They essentially will be forever unemployed. Whereas if the gov't didn't stick their nose into the free marketplace, they would be happily employed.
